My great grandmother's battle of blood cancer has inspired me to proudly join the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) Student Visionaries of the Year. She is one of the most resilient, hardworking, and kind people i have ever met. Her journey has motivated me to honor and fight for her and everyone else going through similar experiences. 

The LLS Student Visionaries of the Year Campaign is a 7-week fundraising competition for blood cancers. My team has a goal to raise 60,000 dollars, and we cannot do it without YOUR help!!

The sad truth is that every 3 minutes someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Whether it's leukemia, lymphoma, or myeloma; it is absolutely heartbreaking to think about. By raising advocacy in my community, helping fund life-saving technology, and providing vital patient support; I hope to fight these sort of statistics and evoke change.
